You will receive one tumbled Mookaite Jasper which is either small, medium or large. The small are 1/2-3/4”, medium are between 3/4-1”, and large are between 1 and 1 1/2” at its widest point. These are lightly tumbled, so they might contain pits, dents, etc. I also have some grade B available. If you would like one of the lesser quality and cheaper stones which might have some larger pits, chips, gashes, scratches, or contain fewer and duller colors, choose Grade B in the drop down menu.
One of the beautiful things about Mookaite is the variety of colors that this stone produces. These are natural stones and differ in size, shape, and color. I will intuitively choose one for you from the specimens available at the time of your order. You may receive any range of color, from red, yellow, brown, grey, white or purple. Most likely you will not receive the stone featured in the main photo as this is just an example of the stones in our inventory. The Mookaite will be Reiki charged and come in a decorative bag.
Mookaite Jasper is a sedimentary rock formed when ancient sea bed sediment was jasperized into a mottled and beautiful quartz rock. This crystal has marbled earth tones and gets its name from the Mooka Creek near the Kennedy Ranges in Western Australia where it can be found. The word “Mookaite” comes from the Aboriginal word for the creek where it is found, which means “running waters.” Mookaite Jasper’s amazing coloration is the result of groundwater being rich with iron oxide and ranges from red and yellow to white, brown, grey and purple.
Mookaite Jasper is connected with the lower chakras: Solar Plexus, Sacral and Root Chakras. It is an excellent grounding stone and is known for helping slow the aging process by changing internal beliefs regarding maturation, and by helping us to remember that the spirit is eternal.
