Celestite, also called Celestine, is a strontium sulfate mineral. Its name, derived from the Latin caelestis, meaning “celestial” or “heavenly,” and refers to the sky-blue color commonly exhibited by its crystals.
Celestite resonates with the higher chakras: Throat, Third Eye, and Crown. Celestite connects us to our guardian angels and other higher loving beings. You will receive one tumbled Celestite in Small, Medium, or Large sizes. The small measures between 1/2 and 3/4 inch in length. The Medium are between 3/4 and 1", and the Large are between 1" and 1 1/4". These are natural stones, therefore the size, shape, and color vary. Because they are very soft and fragile stones, it is common for the tumbles to have small chips on the surface. I also have some which are broken in half. The break is smooth and these appear as half ovals, and are really quite beautiful. Please choose these from the drop down menu. You will most likely not receive the specimen pictured as this is just an example of the inventory. I will choose the best stone for you at the time of your order. The celestite will be Reiki-charged before sending.
