These Poppy Jasper are all grade B, and the price has been adjusted accordingly. Grade B has duller, muted coloring, and some imperfections such as natural fissures and gashes. Poppy Jasper is a rarer variety of Orbicular Jasper which consists of orbs and swirls of black, red and yellow coloring. The poppy-patterned jasper is the varietal name for material from several locations, but the most well known is from Morgan Hill, Santa Clara County, California, where this batch was sourced.
