Apache Tears are small tear-shaped pebbles naturally formed from Obsidian, which is a black or dark-colored volcanic glass produced when felsic lava extruded from a volcano cools rapidly with minimal crystal growth.
Apache Tears are associated with the root chakra as well as the heart and sacral chakras. They are known for assisting in times of grief and emotional anguish. They are also helpful to heal the voids that trauma leaves in its wake. Apache Tears absorb negative energy and are useful for grounding and protection.
