Sodalite is a tectosilicate mineral which typically occurs in a range of blue hues with spots and streaks of white and salmon pink colors. The blue parts of the stone consist of Lazulite, the white of calcite, and the orange (as seen in Sunset sodalite) is Sunstone. It is an igneous mineral named for its sodium content.
Sodalite is associated with the third eye chakra. It is said to aid our intuition by bringing strong, calm, rational energy to our mind, allowing us to become more aware and in control of our mental thought patterns which brings clarity and creates space to hear our intuition. It is a great meditation ally. Sodalite is also said to curb anger and hostility, and is especially useful to those prone to road rage or sudden outbursts. It is a masculine stone and a great ally to most men, especially helpful with patience, anger control, focus, and logical thinking.
You will receive one Sodalite tumbled stone in either a S, M, L or XL size. The XL are between 1 1/2 and 2 inches. The L are between 1-1 1/2", the medium are between 3/4-1", and the small are between 1/2-3/4". Each stone varies in size, shape, thickness, and color. I will pick the best specimen available in the size that you choose. All stones are cleansed and Reiki charged before sending.
