The small are between 1/2- 3/4", the medium are between 3/4" - 1", the Large are between 1" and 1.25" and the XL are between 1.25-1.5". Each stone will be Reiki charged and arrive in a decorative bag. Garnets have a cracked appearance, this is a natural occurrence. Because these are natural stones, they may differ in shade, perfection, shape, and width. You might not receive the exact stone pictured, but I will choose the best Garnet available at the time of your order.
Garnet is not a single mineral, but a group which contains closely related, isomorphous minerals. The common Garnets can be divided into two subgroups: Garnets containing aluminum and Garnets containing calcium. The red Garnets which are mostly used in jewelry are the Pyrope Garnets from the aluminum group. Garnet has been used for centuries by emperors, knights, and warriors as a protective Talisman, by Hindu and Buddhist followers as a holy stone of enlightenment, and by Native North and South American Indian, Aztec, Mayan, and African Tribal cultures. Garnet is the birthstone for January.
Garnet mostly relates with the root chakra, but also with the heart, sacral and earth star chakras. Garnet inspires love and passion, devotion and loyalty. Garnet is a good stone for depression, bringing joy and hope to its user, and to help lessen anger, especially towards oneself. This stone is also said to bring courage and willpower to its wearer. Garnet is a very empowering stone, aiding with self-confidence and rooting oneself into their purpose and place in life. It also brings the will-power, motivation, and clarity to move forward when we are feeling stuck.
