Calcite is a carbonate material which manifests in several different colors. It's a very beautiful stone with a waxy surface and Mohs scale value of 3. Calcite is a beautiful pink (and often banded) version of calcite that also goes by the names of “Pink Calcite,” "Madonna Calcite," and “the Reiki Stone.”
