K2 Jasper is also called Afghanite, K2, Ketonite, Raindrop Azurite and K2 Granite is characterized most frequently by vivid blue Azurite and less frequently, greenish Malachite staining in Granite with black specks of Biotite. It was recently discovered in the foothills of the second highest mountain on Earth, the Karakoram Mountain range which borders Pakistan and China.
K2 Jasper corresponds with the throat chakra, the third eye and the root chakra. This stone reportedly grants us access to the Akashic Records. It is also said to be a wonderful connector of people, bringing together groups in harmony and encouraging balanced communication among individuals. K2 is touted to be the "ultimate healer" and can lead to major spiritual growth. The Azurite staining lends itself to increasing psychic abilities and gaining spiritual wisdom. You will receive one K2 Stone in small, medium, large, or XL size. The K2 Granite with little to no Azurite or Malachite are in various size ranges. The small range from 1/2-3/4”, medium from 3/4-1”, large from 1-1.5”, and the XL/Jumbo are from 1.5-2.2. Because these are natural stone, they will differ in size, shape, and amount of Azurite/Malachite staining. Some stones are chunkier, some rounder, and some are thinner/flattened.
