Serpentine is a name for a group of magnesium silicate minerals. The colors can vary from light and dark greens to brown, yellow, reddish brown, white and grey. The green coloration is due to the presence of minerals including chromium and cobalt in the stone’s magnesium silicate base. Serpentine is often confused with jade due to its green coloring and is often found under the name New Jade. Some forms of Serpentine include Serpentinite, Antigorite, Chrsotile, Lizardite, Olivine, Atlantisite, Greenstone, Bolivianite, and Infinite.
Serpentine connects to all the chakras including the Earth Star chakra.
