Howlite is a calcium borosilicate hydroxide which, in its natural state, has a white or light grey color with dark grey or black colored spider webbed lines. It is also called White Turquoise, White Buffalo, Sacred Buffalo, and Kaolinite. Howlite is often dyed and disguised at Blue Turquoise.
Howlite resonates with the crown chakra. It is a calming stone and a good aid for insomnia. Howlite is said to calm rage and inner turmoil. It also helps with anxiety and stress. It is very useful for workplace stress. Howlite teaches patience and encourages creativity. It is especially useful for writer's block and artist's block. Howlite is sometimes called the "attunement stone" because it links with the higher self to ready one for spiritual energy, wisdom, and blessings. It is useful to use during Reiki attunements. It is also an excellent meditation stone. Howlite often reminds us to hydrate and drink plenty of water. It also aligns with breastfeeding mothers and infants, providing support.
You will receive one Howlite stone in Small, which is 1/2-3/4”, Medium, which is between 3/4- 1 inch, Large, which is approximately 1 - 1 1/2 inch, or XL, which is 1.5” or over in length. These are natural stones, so they differ in size, color and markings. You may not receive the exact stone pictured, but I will choose the best specimen for you at the time of your order.
