Satin Spar is a form of Gypsum which is often referred to as Selenite. Satin Spar is a fibrous form of Gypsum which displays chatoyancy when polished. Gypsum occurs on every continent in the world, and is the most common of all the sulfate minerals. Metaphysically, Satin Spar is associated with the crown and higher chakras and is excellent for meditation and spiritual work.
