You will receive your choice of one Grade A XL Lapis tumbled stone, which is between 1 1/4" and 1 3/4", a large Lapis, which is between 1 and 1 1/4", one medium Lapis, which is between 3/4 and 1", or one small Lapis, which is between 1/2 to 3/4". You may also select a Chunky variety of Grade A Lapis which will be larger over all, especially in width and weight, but will still adhere to the set length of S,M,L or XL. These are natural stones, so they vary in size, shape, markings, perfection, and color. You may not receive the exact stone pictured, however, I will choose the best specimens available at the time of your order. With each order, you will receive a small gift bag. All stones are cleansed and Reiki-charged.
Lapis Lazuli, commonly known as Lapis, is a metamorphic rock which is composed of multiple minerals. In order to qualify as "Lapis," the rock must be made up of at least 25% Lazurite, a blue silicate material made up of the Sodalite group. In addition to Lazurite, specimens of Lapis Lazuli usually contain White Calcite and Golden Pyrite. Several other minerals may also be present in small amounts including Mica, Dolamite, and Diopside. Lapis is a beautiful indigo color and is used worldwide as a precious gemstone.
Lapis Lazuli correlates to the throat chakra and the third eye. It encourages clear expression, including appropriately expressing anger and other difficult emotions. Lapis Lazuli assists to speak one’s truth and inspires confidence. It is also known to expand intuition and psychic ability, provide wisdom, and aid in communication with spirit guides.
